I used these in our RV in the kitchen area and love how they look and perform. They were easy to put on once I got past my jitters and just went for it. LOL. Make sure to draw a plumb line to go by. I plumbed mine perpendicular to the RV door facing, and it worked well. The pieces fit together nicely and stay put. I even was able to piece together lots of little pieces to do more wall area than I had planned to do. I did get one of the pieces cut out wrong b/c I cut it upside down. However, I removed it and set it aside and was able to cut it again later to use as smaller sections. It adhered just fine and has stayed on (I don't even remember where I used it). I put these on over a year ago and we have had not issues with them. I love they way they wash so easily, too. I used a SHARP (new blade) razor knife and some scissors also. I made paper templates of weirdly shaped areas to get the fit right before I cut anything. I removed the window trim also and then put it back on after they were up. I also used a sharpie to mark on the wall underneath the tiles in a couple of places where there was a (tiny) bit of space where there shouldn't have been between tiles, LOL, and b/c the "grout" is dark, it is not detectable. I had already cleaned and painted the RV wall paper with regular interior house paint, so I did a bit of light sanding to rough up the surface, and they stuck fine and are still going strong. I would highly recommend. I love the look we got with them.If I were to do this again I would get the tiles with the dark grout lines. It would be easier to hide the sections if they didn't line up perfectly. I ordered the tile with white grout. They are high quality tile stickers and seem like they will hold up to cooking splatters. I installed this in the kitchen are for my rv. It looks great from a distance, but looking closer you can see where the sections meet up.Let me preface this by saying I never leave reviews like this for products (even the ones I love) and I also have, historically, never before been much of a DIY’er. However, I felt inspired to leave one for these vinyl tiles, and hope my feedback will be helpful. You should know that my experience with DIY projects is extremely limited. I’m one of those people who wishes they were ‘crafty’ SO much that I’ve wasted money and time on several half-baked DIY projects I’ve decided to take on—and have never completed—bc, as it turns out, I am *not* all that crafty, and either early-on or halfway through, I’ll realize this and give up. But only AFTER I’ve already bought the supplies and made a mess.Fast forward to 2021– I figured it was time I learned from my mistakes, so I researched a LOT when I decided I wanted to finally tackle remodeling our (formerly) dark, dank, cluttered and outdated kitchen. I read a lot of DIY & design blogs and lots of online + Amazon product reviews. I needed to do this on a TIGHT BUDGET and wanted to transform the “black, spray painted cabinets, brownish color palette with earth-tones-colored ceramic mosaic tile backsplash”-kitchen we inherited when we bought our first home 7 years ago, into the “white palette, modern farmhouse”-kitchen I saw all over Pinterest. But WITHOUT breaking the bank. If you’ve also decided that peel and stick vinyl decals are the option for your DIY project, and you have anywhere from “minimal” to “I'm a pro, bro”-DIY experience, then THIS IS THE BRAND FOR YOU! I initially tried using a different brand/different tile option to cover our existing ceramic mosaic tile-backsplash, that was well-reviewed but not as well-reviewed as Stickgoo, and was a little less expensive, and found early-on that it just wasn’t going to look nice or real enough to go to all the trouble of measuring it all out. Since I was trying to cover a mostly-smooth but also uneven and bumpy surface, adhesion and the quality of the texture was important, or it would just look cheap. I read more product reviews and gave these a shot, and I’m so glad I did! They’re a great value for the money and are a superior option, as far as thickness and texture quality goes. There are a few areas that aren’t perfect bc lining everything up can be tricky and takes time, and we also discovered (like others who left feedback like this that helped!) that our kitchen walls and granite countertops were *not* actually “level”, so had we started off using a leveler to then pre-measure and cut the tiles to fit, they would’ve been really “off.”I used TSP to clean the tiles we were covering, and made sure they were dry before sticking anything to them. You’ll definitely need a utility knife (I found that an Exacto-Knife was not strong or sharp enough to slice the tiles evenly, and the “vinyl-slicer” I bought off Amazon, broke early-on), a metal ruler, and I would recommend also using one of those metal square tools that also has a ruler on it, for measuring and lining tiles up to cut down. I ended up ordering too much bc I was worried about not having enough or messing some up (which did happen) and then running out, but I believe I ordered (4) packs and ended up using like 2.5. My husband did the majority of the adhering-part, but all-in-all, it turned out really well! Those who have seen it couldn’t tell they weren’t real tiles until I told them, and then only if they were up really close and could see the 2 or 3 areas that weren’t perfect. I have had to push a few peeling tiles back down, but it’s not something I’m concerned about yet, and they’ve always gone back to being stuck very easily. I’m happy with it and am glad I found this product!!We used this for an upgrade to our laundry room. The pros: it looks pretty good from a short distance, with ridges to give it a little dimension; it is easy to cut with a sharp exacto knife; there's a removable protective film on the front, so you can mark it to measure on either side; and it's a lot cheaper and less messy than actual tile and grout. The cons: up close you can tell it's not real tile; and it's hard to cut along the grout at the exact same width every time, so that when bricks are pieced together, you can sometimes tell the places where it's been pieced. Also note that I did not move the washer/dryer to install this, so it was more difficult than it would have been for a backsplash over kitchen cabinets or on an unobstructed wall. General advice about the project: the bottom of our cabinets are not perfectly level (see 3rd photo) so it took me a couple of tries to figure out the best way to get everything straight -- I ended up using a level to draw a line level with the grout under the first row of bricks at the lowest point, then I lined all the other pieces up such that all the grout is level with that line. (I couldn't draw a level line at the top.) Also, we are not renters, but because I mess up some of my DIY projects, I first put up leftover peel and stick wallpaper, stapled it at the corners, and then stuck all the tile to that. So if we decide to take it down, it shouldn't damage the wall. If this process ends up not working after a year, I will revise this review (although not the rating because it probably won't be the tile's fault).Served our utility room needs under cabinets. Great value! Solid product! Couldn’t believe what they were trying to sell similar products for at brick and mortar. What I didn't like about the product...no room for mistakes, if you have to pull it off it won't go back up. So make sure to measure and keep level. No fresh paint and sand if you have textured walls. Will not adhere well to texture.I must admit I wasn’t sure how good these would be but I took the plunge and ordered.Best decision I made for decorating my kitchen, this product is brilliant very simple to use and install. The look is perfect the quality of the product is outstanding and the raised edges of the tile give a great look and feel.I used a Stanley scalpel SER for cutting along with an A3 cutting Matt and metal ruler set.I can’t recommend this product enough fantastic delivery great customer service very quick response when answering a couple of questions I had.Just make sure to measure twice and cut once, as the tiles have a protective cover on them they were very easy to mark up for cutting by just using a regular biro pen lightly so you don’t mark the tile underneath.Update on the install, these tiles have now started to peel in places not the actual foam layer of tile with the adhesive back to it but the actual layer of tile affect is peeling away from the foam adhesive back itself.I’ve ordered some spray adhesive to see if i can salvage the work.1. These have an up and a down pattern! I did the longest wall in the kitchen before I realised...There is a thick black line at the 'top' and none at the 'bottom'. Unfortunately, I put the thick black line at the bottom. As the tiles sit on top of thick white caulking, it makes the caulking look very pronounced and the top 'unsealed'. If you look at my picture where I've cut out the wall socket on the counter, you can see that on the left of the pic is the right way up and right is with the black line at the bottom. Most likely, no visitors to my home will ever notice this, but I do and now I can't un-see it! Pulling them off and re-doing them is out of the question. Buying more is also out of the question as...2. They are not 12"x12"! As you can see in my picture, I've measured them. The bottom or top line is only 10" long and there are no offcuts in the bag to seal up the end tiles; there aren't any little squares to plug up the gaps for one side. This really annoyed me as I measured out the kitchen twice on the wrong info that they are 12" long and I ended up not ordering enough, so to do the whole kitchen cost me about £20 more than I budgeted for. One wall was already done though, so stopping there wasn't an option!Overall, I can say that I'm happy with these for three reasons:AdhesionOnce they are on, they are on. I bought them with the 3M spray adhesive and these aren't going anywhere without a good deal of wall still attached to them. This is good as it will prevent moisture from entering.Speed of applicationOnce I realised I should put the tiles together on the counter and measure out, then cut, the holes for the sockets, the work was extremely easy.Stain free.My wife asked if because these are plastic, would they stain. I panicked for a moment as it was after I'd just done all the walls! I used some of the offcuts to do an experiment though (pictured). I put ketchup on each tile and left it for 1 hour, 2 hours and overnight. As you can see, even after a whole night with ketchup on it, this wiped completely clean. This is important for us with a young family as there are often spills etc while preparing food, but then it's meal time! Gotta get the food on the table quick, so the time for cleaning is sometimes when the kids are in bed, many hours after that pasta sauce has splashed on the wall! These will cut open easily though, so be careful with knives. I think I could make a lasting impression in one of these with my fingernail.I've never bought tiles before, so I can't comment on the value for money, but 'm happy that for under £100 in our case, we've made a big aesthetic and practical change to our kitchen for the best. I have applied tiles to a bathroom before though (I helped my dad when I was younger) and I can confirm this is much, much easier: no cutting tiles, no messy grout and no fretting over lining up the tiles just right.Recommended!Absolutely LOVE Them. Stuck to crappy yellow lumpy tiles with ease, CANNOT see the tiles underneath which is fabulous! They do have a top and a bottom to the tiles so obviously keep that in mind as your applying them. If your cutting them use a metal ruler and craft knife or Stanley knife. Or if you have SUPER sharp scissors then you will be grand. I used textile scissors and they worked fabulous. If you do something off they pull off easily too. Theyre waterproof which is fab, behind the cooker they Haven't peeled which is great but I do need to wipe them with kitchen roll when cooking as the steam beads up. They're absolutely fab, it's 2 and a half packs in the image. You will need a few more than you think! But they're fantastic and look real once completed. Really happy.Like other reviewers, I wasn't sure what to expect quality wise, but these are brilliant, they look fantastic and stick really well to the wall. They're easy to cut and definitely a DIY job.Its worth noting however that they do have a top and bottom, don't do what I did and cut out the hole for your socket and attach to the wall only to discover you have the tile the wrong way up ?‍♂️ oh well I hadn't ordered enough anyway so was forced to order another pack!UPDATE: a couple months after installing, all of these are now starting to peel, which looks horrible. I will soon be pulling these off the wall and fitting proper tiles, which I should have done in the first place.I gave our utility room a makeover with these stick on tiles and was very happy how they turned out.I found cutting them with scissors was the easiest option.I started at the bottom left corner and worked my way up , simply cut off the edge of one to start with to make a straight row and then start sticking on full pieces.I’d recommend watching some YouTube tutorials first , I found them very helpful before starting.
